Take Back the Night "Join Sex Workers This Year at Take Back the Night"

This year the 27th annual Take Back the Night will be taking place in Regent Park.
Many sex workers rights organizations (including Sex Professionals of Canada, the Bad Date Coalition, and DREAMS from Oshawa), as well as individual sex workers will be taking part in this event and we’re hoping that sex workers and our allies will come out and join us as we demand an end to violence against us.

Valerie Scott from SPOC will be speaking about the need for decriminalization and SPOC's recent Superior Court challenge against bawdy house, living on the avails, and the communicating laws.

Representatives from the Bad Date Coalition will be speaking about its work to prevent violence against street based sex workers in Toronto.

Take back The Night is an international rally and march that is organized in local communities with the purpose of spreading an awareness of all forms of violence and oppression against women.

All sex workers are invited!

Refreshments will be provided.
